14th NOFOD CONFERENCE, HELSINKI 12.-15.6.2019
Practice, Participation and Politics Call for Papers
Place: Theatre Academy
Address: Haapaniemenkatu 6, 00530 Helsinki, Finland.
Getting to city centre: From the airport the easiest way to get to the city centre is by TRAIN: I or P, they both go to the centre.
You can get there also by BUS: 415 and 615. or you can take BUS 617 (which goes to HAKANIEMI MARKET PLACE which is the nearest large landmark near to the Theatre Academy.
You can get the tickets from vending machines at the airport, for bus the machine is near the stop and for train the machine is on the hallway just before you go down to the train station.
Please note that there is a massive renovation going on the street (Hämeentie) close to the Theatre Academy. The trams don’t go there this summer. The best way to get to the Academy is to take a tram, subway or bus to Hakaniemi Market Place and walk from there, it is about 400m walk. There is a bus stop near the Academy, just one stop from the Hakaniemi Market Place.
To check the available routes for getting around you can download this app on your phone: HSL – Liput, Reittiopas ja liikenne, it is for Android and iOs and you can use it also in Swedish or English.
